2023 is a year of opportunity and possibility, and if you’re looking to achieve success, then there is one key thing you need to focus on: list building. By focusing on building your list, you will set yourself up for success in 2023. This one focus will help you reach your desired targets and build a successful business.

1. Create a High-Converting Lead Magnet

What is a high-converting lead magnet? A high-converting lead magnet converts at least 20%. Before you decide if your lead magnet is converting at 20%, you want to have a least 100 views of your landing page. That leads to the question, how do I create a high-converting lead magnet?

2. Share Everywhere & Share Frequently

Once you've got your lead magnet created and your lead funnel, you're going to want to share it everywhere and frequently!

One of the biggest mistakes I see new course creators and product creators make is they don't tell people about their amazing free resource!

There are many reasons people are afraid to share, but that's a topic for another day. 

Don't let this be you! 

Share! Share! Share!

Where and how should you share it?

Here are a few easy ideas:

  1. Put the link to your freebie in your social media profiles
  2. Once a week, share your freebie in your social media content
  3. Share about it in your regular weekly content.

3. Nurture Your List

Think about your email list like a best friend. If you want to keep your friendship alive, you've got to put forth the effort to keep communication open. The same is true for your list. Your list is a friendship. You've got to email them frequently and engage with them to grow your relationship.

I suggest emailing your list at least once a week. You can share a story, a quick tip, things you're loving right now, or something new you learned. Again, what would you share with a friend? Share it with your list and tie it to the purpose of your business.
